Full Day-of Coordination
Unlike traditional wedding planners, a day-of coordinator will step into the planning process approximately one month prior to your wedding. A detailed consultation will be held to gain a thorough understanding of how your wedding day will proceed and to get contact lists of all the vendors you will be working with. Then our job begins! We will take the stress off your shoulders for the final month of planning by reconfirming all details with your vendors, including starting and ending times, and providing our contact information to anyone that has a role in your big day. That way, no one will interrupt you or your family to ask “where’s the venue again” or anything else that may cause you to worry! We will provide guidance and advice as all the last minute details fall into place and help pull all the pieces of your wedding planning together. We’ll take care of everything!
1-2 weeks prior to the wedding we will sit down again to come up with a detailed timeline for the day and go over all the final details that may have been missed during our first meeting. This meeting usually takes a couple of hours. When we’re done, we should have an exact vision of your wedding in our minds and understand all the intimate details just as well as you do. This will help us to communicate your vision to family and friends at your wedding rehearsal and ensure that everyone knows their time and place for the ceremony and reception.
On your wedding day, your day-of coordinator (plus an assistant depending on the size of the wedding) will be there from the time the first vendor arrives to ensure that everything goes exactly as planned. We will trouble-shoot, keep everyone on time, ensure no detail is overlooked, and can even help clean-up at the end of the evening. We will also bring our Bridal Emergency Kit to cover any potential glitch that could possibly come up. We want your wedding to be exactly as you always imagined it to be – perfect!
Partial Day-of Coordination
Similar to our full day package, this option covers the most hectic part of the wedding day – the set-up and ceremony. The process is very similar to the full day package but coordination ends just after the ceremony once a smooth transition to the reception has occurred. We will assist with your timeline, correspond with your vendors, attend your rehearsal, ensure all décor and details are placed, and ensure everything is on time and running smoothly up until the reception commences. This is an economical option for those that wish to have the benefits of a coordinator on a budget.
Sometimes you just need a little help putting the last details into place. Down the Aisle is now offering a set-up package for those couples looking to have their ceremony and reception space brought to life. After all that planning, you don’t want your bridesmaids or mother setting up your details on the day – you want them to enjoy and have time to get ready for the wedding with you! We will meet with you 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding day to finalize your décor plan and make sure your décor and details are placed just the way you planned them to be.
